OVERVIEW
• microbar gas is a composite pack of microbar Acid and microbar Base.

• microbar – gas produce 450 c.c. of carbon dioxide gas which is sufficient to   distend the stomach.

• Administered orally for distending the stomach for optimal contrast before   administering microbar HD suspension.

• No pharmacological and therapeutic value.

INDICATION
• microbar- gas” is used for distending stomach before administering
  microbar-HD suspension.

DESCRIPTION
• microbar Acid : white coloured powder.

• microbar Base : Pink coloured powder.

• 4 gm microbar gas pouch contains two pouches as follows:
  One silver pouch of microbar Acid           1.6 gm.
  One polythene pouch of microbar Base   2.4 gm.
